IMPROVEMENTS: South Diamond Lake Road is roughly five miles of road and is identified in the City’s pavement management plan for improvements in 2025. The City has bid the Mill and Overlay project and awarded the contract for the project. Improvements are scheduled for the entire length of the road within City limits as well as a portion to the west which the City of Rogers will be funding. This is a surface only improvement so there will not be any culvert replacements or additional shouldering included with this project.
PROJECT BEGIN DATE: The Mill & Overlay project located on South Diamond Lake Rd will begin on Thursday, August 21st. The asphalt removal and replacement will begin on the South Lane at Brockton Lane and will end at Dayton/Champlin border. They will then turn around and go from the border to Brockton Lane in the North Lane. This should be a quick process, with pavement being removed almost simultaneously. The road will remain open during this process, but expect some delays in the work area.
