The Dayton EDA is involved in matters important to local business retention and expansion.  The board discusses ways to enhance economic development at the direction of the City Council in order to meet the City’s goals.  The City Council recently decided to implement a more active EDA in order to meets these goals.
 
The Dayton EDA has regularly scheduled meetings once per month on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. at Dayton City Hall. Please contact City Administrator Zach Doud (zdoud@cityofdaytonmn.com) for more information.

EDA Mission statement

The mission of the EDA is to promote economic growth in the City of Dayton through the attraction of new business, retention of existing business and promotion of managed growth and redevelopment of key areas by providing resources that enable development and enhance the quality of life in Dayton.
