**This is a community participation event & without donations there is no pumpkin trail!**

Fall is approaching and the City of Dayton needs your pumpkins! This October we will be hosting a Jack-O’-Lantern trail. The public will enjoy a captivating Halloween experience viewing hand carved pumpkins as they light up the trail from Cloquet Park into Elsie Stephens Park on October 29th from 5-9pm. Perfect for all ages, this night hike is a great event for everyone.

That is where you come in – without you, we have no pumpkin trail! Show off your pumpkin carving skills and take the Pumpkin Pledge to help bring this exciting experience to the Dayton community. All participants names will be put into a drawing to light the tree at the Holidayton event taking place on December 5th. Drawing will take place on October 31st and the winner will be contacted directly. If you donate the carved Jack O’ Lantern, we will take care of lighting them. People can donate a single carved pumpkin or groups can plan a special concept pumpkin grouping or sculpture.

Please fill out the pumpkin pledge form or email activitycenter@cityofdaytonmn.com by October 21st. The form can be dropped off at City Hall or emailed to activitycenter@cityofdaytonmn.com. Pumpkins need to be carved and dropped off by Friday, October 25th to ensure freshness for the event. There will be a trailer located outside of the Public Works located at 13700 Zanzibar Lane.
