In accordance with Executive Order 20-99, this is a stay-in-your-car-with-only-your-immediate-family type of event.
The Festivities Include:
View the Tree & Lights: We will have the tree and building decorated in true festive fashion!
Make a Coat Donation: The Dayton Police are collecting New or Gently Used Coats for the Salvation Army and a box will be located at the Activity Center during the Tree Lighting to collect donations.
Show off your Festive Family Spirit: Decorate your vehicle from headlights to rear bumper for a chance to win a A Fabulous Festive Family Fun pack! Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Fabulous Festive Family? Register by December 2nd by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Drop off a Letter to Santa: The Elves will be doing their FINAL pickup of Letters to Santa tonight! The Magical Mailbox will be available until the end of the event. Be sure that your name and return address is on the envelope so that Santa can send a letter back!
Pick-up Holiday Cheer Craftivity Bag: We are giving away FREE Holiday Cheer Craftivity Bags for kids that are filled with coloring, crafts, science activities, and a few fun surprises to keep your littles occupied. Please email email@example.com to reserve a Holiday Cheer Bag by December 2nd to be picked up no-contact style at the Tree Lighting. The bags are limited, and available on first come, first reserved basis, one per child.
Send a Winter Wellness Kit to a Senior: We are also distributing Winter Wellness Kits to be delivered to Seniors (55+) who may be homebound, isolated, or just need some extra joy this holiday season. These kits are filled with an Aging Mastery Program, healthy snacks, a pen pal invitation, introduction to area programs & resources, crafts & activities, and more! To reserve or for more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. The kits can be picked up or delivered to those in the local area.
