The Dayton Fire Department opens its doors to the community every October on the first Sunday of Fire Prevention Week. The next DFD Open House will be held at Station 2 (12260 S. Diamond Lake Rd) on October 6, 2019. Our Open House celebrations provide free fun for the whole family including food, interactive displays, live burn demonstrations, bounce houses, as well as tours of fire, police, aircare helicopters, and ambulance vehicles.
