Parking: Parking will be located at Central Park & Dayton Elementary. Please look for parking signs.
**Please note, South Diamond Lake Rd will be close at 5:55 p.m. for the light parade. If you plan to attend, please arrive before 5:50 p.m.**
Enjoy a night of magical holiday fun with attractions including:
6:00pm HOLIDAYTON LIGHT PARADE: The Light Parade will run from Raintree Plaza down Balsam Lane and onto South Diamond Lake Rd to end at Norwood. (See Map)
6:45pm TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY: Countdown the magical moment when the HoliDayton tree comes to life!
SANTA PICTURES FOLLOWING TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY: Meet Santa & capture a special picture! SPECIAL APPEAREANCE from our grumpy favorite, the Grinch!
HOLIDAY HAYRIDE: Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride with the family.
FOOD & SIPS: The City is serving up holiday treats including mini donuts & hot cocoa! Food Trucks will be on-site!
BONFIRE: Gather around the fire & connect with your community!
KIDS ACTIVITY: Make your own magical reindeer food to sprinkle on the lawn at night!
NAME A SNOWPLOW CONTEST
MAGIC MAILBOX: The Magic Mailbox is back! This year it is at City Hall (12260 S Diamond Lake Rd) with special stationary to use for Santa! Be sure all letters are dropped off by Thursday, December 5th so we can ensure Santa gets them in time! **Parents: please make sure your child’s envelope is addressed with their full name & address so it is delivered to the correct house. It is also helpful if you tuck a note in with anything that Santa might have missed such as a nice thing they did around the house, an accomplishment at school or an act of kindness!**
