ROAD RESTRICTION NOTIFICATION:
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will start spring load restrictions on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 12:01 AM.
All Dayton roads will be posted as 5 TON roads with the exception of South Diamond Lake Rd which will be posted at 7 TON.
The restrictions are put in place annually to preserve the life of roads, which are at their most vulnerable when frost comes out of the roadbed and temperatures go above and below freezing on a consistent basis.
